There's nothing more gorgeous than creating photographs in downtown Madison at our state Capitol. I absolutely love all the textures and moody wood tones, plus those luxurious steps! But I know you're wondering - how do we get those dreamy photos you're hoping for? Let me break it down for you!

First things first - let's talk about what you're wearing (because this can make or break your Capitol photos!)

The Capitol's classic architecture calls for some thoughtful choices:

• Think timeless colors that complement that beautiful granite. We want simple and light rather than bold patterns that might steal the show.

• Layers that move! Since our Capitol has what I like to call "masculine energy" with it’s strong lines and stone, adding flowing pieces creates the perfect balance.
